CANOEING THE DORDOGNE RIVER FROM SOURCE TO BERGERAC.

I've recently returned from canoeing the Dordogne river from near the source (Puy de Sancy in the Massif Central) to Bergerac with my son Lewis. Canoeing on the lower river has always been immensely popular, but not many try to do the upper reaches. I see why now, and the French electricity generating company EDF is largely to blame! Lots of high dams to negotiate.
