I had recently suspended my lecturing as I found it hard to commit to dates often a year or more ahead. I felt it was worse to have to let people down occasionally when I find that I will not be in the country on a certain date after all.
But now want to get back to lecturing again. I've missed it. But I think a few of the venerable lecture societies of old haven't survived the pandemic.
The last lecture was on canoeing in the Canadian Arctic in Bristol on Feb 26th for the 'Wilderness' series at the Mackinnon Theatre Bristol Grammar School. Full house.
It was great to be back.
